Academic Programs
Weekend Academy allow students to recover lost credit or improve a passing grade. Credit is earned through a combination of class time and independent projects. Each class will meet for four weekends, a total of 54 hours of class time. In addition, office hours will be offered each session. For questions about Weekend Academy, please contact your school counselor. Classes will be held at Sunnyside High School (1725 E. Bilby Rd.)

To participate, students must register with their school counselor. After registration, assigned fees can be paid online through InTouch or in the Bookstore. The class requires a minimum of 20 students to run, and enrollment is limited, so register early.

Students MUST attend every session and hour of Weekend Academy to receive credit. There are no excused absences. Students must meet all deadlines for both in-class work and independent projects to pass the class and receive credit. Please make sure parents, guardians, bosses, and coaches understand your availability.

All school policies apply to Weekend Academy. Any infraction that calls for discipline (fighting, illegal substances, excessive absences, insubordination, etc.)
